A quick question about Vegas 4 video capturing

Is there a DV scene seperation thing? Like it detects every time I stop the camera and start it again, and will make seperate clips so I can drag them all into the new project? It will make it WAY easier to do transitions for dance sequences at weddings without having to watch the entire wedding video over.

Thanks in advance.

OK, I tried this, and I must have had 40 different scenes thoughout the wedding and the program detected like 6. What happened?

Vegas used the date/time information to detect camera stops and starts. Was your camera clock set?

When I use Pinnacle 8 (eww) it detects scene changes just fine. It shouldn't be using date/time info from what I understand, right?

Sorry for my typo eariler. Vegas USES date/time info. It's designed that way.
