A strange discovery Vegas 20 crash when I click render

Hi everyone ,

I've discovered something related to the program crashing when I click render.

I'm editing UHD MOV 50 fps files on a timeline of 1080 25p (I'm using windows 11) Vegas 20 build 370

Using a tower AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT (adrenaline software 23.4.1)

GPU AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

32GB Ram

Ok this is very strange but , if my preview is set on Good (half) and I click render , I get the pop up render window and I can select my output

But if I set the preview to Best Full and click render, Vegas 20 immediately crashes.

After the crash If I try to render with a different setting , it doesn't matter , I keep getting a crash when clicking render

I can only restore the render problem if I do a reset (control/shift) of Vegas

and I rename my save.

There are some media types I find that crash VEGAS upon render (though never noticed differences among quality settings). As a workaround I just used Voukoder.

Does it work with known-good projects like the benchmarks in my signature?

Custom PC (2022) Intel i5-13600K with UHD 770 iGPU with latest driver, MSI z690 Tomahawk motherboard, 64GB Corsair DDR5 5200 ram, NVIDIA 2080 Super (8GB) with latest studio driver, 2TB Hynix P41 SSD, Windows 11 Pro 64 bit

Dell XPS 15 laptop (2017) 32GB ram, NVIDIA 1050 (4GB) with latest studio driver, Intel i7-7700HQ with Intel 630 iGPU (latest available driver), dual internal SSD (256GB; 1TB), Windows 10 64 bit

VEGAS Pro 19.651
VEGAS Pro 20.411
VEGAS Pro 21.208

@RogerS Thank you for reminding me Voukoder , I always forget it ;-)

@Grazie Yeah, there is something strange going on . At least now I know how to slove it over here , a few weeks ago I did a format C do solve this problem. But still on several edit deadlines , ... no time to figure out why and how at this time . Maybe in a few months more time
