A STRONG LETTER TO sOfO

Labatt50 wrote on 8/29/2003, 6:53 AM
Ever since I got Vegas, some strange things have happened around here, and I want some answers FORTHWITH.

My TV remote now changes channels on the television set next door, although I must say the new neighbor (she's a gal!) understands--she says 'fwip'-'fwip'-'fwip'ping is a guy thing.

Also, my automatic ice maker in the fridge has started adding a gradient to the cubes...they went from pristine clear to off-white. I've tried fiddling with all those little -[]- thingies in Vegas, but to no avail.

And for some reason, my dial-up internet service has slowed from crawl to dead stop. To make matters worse, the scumbucket denizens at the satellite company just sneer when I tell them I'm interested in getting service to this location.

Coincidence??? I think not!!!

OK SoFo, or SonyFony, or whatever you're now called, I want some answers!!! Otherwise, I'm back to Avis, where I never had ANY problems like these, and I'm taking all my new friends from this forum with me.

Didn't RexA just post something about not posting in the forum when you're drunk? ;)

i think its sarcasm regarding some of the negative posts that some have made saying VV4 causes all their problems.

Try color curves seems to cure most things could be a feedback loop though from gamma radiation caused by overuse of said color curves try turning the icecubes on their sides and rerendering usually works for me failing that duplicate track put into composite mode pour drink down sink order straitjacket and wait for men in white coats while clicking heels together 3 times and saying its cold in this fridge

OMIGOD! You have an ice-cube maker??
Where can I get one of these machines, and do I need special training to use it??
Should I get it in UDMA, SATA, or SCSI? and is it PAL or NTSC, and do I need to enable DMA? By the way, what's an IRQ, do you take a test to get one?
rmack350 wrote on 8/29/2003, 9:50 AM
Everyone has an IRQ but you do need to take a test to find out what it is.

My neighbors and I want to thank SoFo. Since I started using it the drains have cleared and the water pressure has risen in a hundred yard radius around my flat. Of course I've gone door to door to tell everyone why it happened...so many new friends now.

To Labatt50: I'm your attorney. You gotta stop with the LSD. It's hard enough winning another bail reduction motion when your eyes both point in the same direction.

For those who don't know this... Labatt 50 is the name of a beer in Quebec (maybe throughout Canada, I'm not sure).

I think his username is very appropriate. ;)

Labatt50 , Sorry to hear of your problems, and am sure you'll get some help from this group. You might try a search under remote access, I recall a script that may help with your neighbor gal, something like, 'Bring me a Bud Lite and I'll fwip you for a loop.' Maybe in the Acid forum.
You can download Ice Maker 2.0, ver d from www.hellain'tfreezinnow, it works great for my wife at night. Also your neighbor girl should help you with service at your location, she's certified in networking, and fwile sharing.
Also beware of viruses and be sure to scan her thoroughly before opening anything she gives you. Good Luck John.

Funny thing here is that since installing V4 my daughter has started to tidy her room , the car starts first time and the bread now always falls butter side up. This never happened with Version 3.

Still waiting for information on that ice-cube maker. Or are you refrigerator elitists just too busy to respond??

I don't know about Labatt50, but I do know for sure; LABATTS BEER IS VERY GOOD AND VERY STRONG and it's all over Canada.
Maybe he had too much of it.

Oh jeez, I'm sorry guys, I musta opened the wrong door. Clearly you're all tweaked in here and I'll just be on my way. Any leads on where I could get a deal on Premier??? Bye.
MyST wrote on 8/30/2003, 7:55 PM
What's a Premiere?? Do they make them in extra large?

M
DGrob wrote on 8/31/2003, 8:35 PM
About 2.4 pounds . . . ops . . . that's a Henweight. Premiere runs a little heavier.
