AAC audio distortion

Hello! My .mp4 file sounds good when I listen to it in VLC player, but is distorted and choppy when I play or render it in Sony Vegas Pro 15. MediaInfo pastebin: https://hastebin.com/etugewefep.tex

Which build of Magix Vegas Pro 15 is it?

Can you post part of the file? (not rendered) Otherwise, confirm there's no audio plug-ins running. VP used to (and probably stil)l does add some by default. Try converting the audio to a PCM format prior to importing to VP.

If the mp4 file is on a usb drive, copy it to c: drive, I've had issues with audio on a usb drive in remote past
