So far, AAF seems to be still broken in Vegas 8 - at least going to Nuendo 3 (don't know about ProTools yet). Media imports, but not to the timeline, so that's of little use. No luck with either legacy Avid or ECP. Only small files worked with AAF before, so I'll test to see if there is a breaking point over the next few days.
EDL text export from Vegas to EDL Convert to OMF into Nuendo does seem to work (finally!) - crossfades, clip level and automation are there. I need to test this a bit more to be convinced, but at least this seems to be progress over v6. The test I ran tonight did not work in Vegas 6.
