Ability to automatically generate proxy videos for videos over 1080p

I'm using Vegas Edit 19 (latest patch) and I noticed that the option to generate Proxy files for videos only kicks in for videos over 4K.

Is it possible to have the software generate Proxy files if the video is over 1080P, or simply over the size of the project?

I'm trying to get the best performance for video once imported to the project I can.

Yes, the default is 4K and to change this you need to go into the internal menu and change the size to 1920, 1080

Shift + Options shows internal tab, search for proxy and change the default resolutions for creation.

Or rightclick on the thumbnail in Project Media and choose Create Video Proxy
