OK so I'm rendering from VP13 using the AC3 Pro encoder for importing to DVDA and burning to DVD. My question is this: If I listen to the AC3 file in VLC is what I'm hearing going to be what I hear from the finished DVD when played back on a DVD player or TV or PC? In other words when the DVD is played back does the player itself alter the sound at all (compression eq etc) based on metadata on the disc? Hope this makes sense. It would be nice to be able to check my soundtrack before I burn knowing what I hear is going to be what my users will hear.
