Activate Slider option

Way back when I first got this program someone told me about a feature that could be turned on by activating a checkbox or something that would put a slider into VF that I think is default in VV. This slider would advance the video forward or backward fast or slow.
Can anyone rememeber how this is done as i/m sure alot of others out there would like to know.

This is an Internal setting -USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Jake - put a search for Internal Settings in this forum - you should come up with the discussions on it. I'm not using VF at the moment, otherwise I would have given you the settings. You can activate the INternal settings by clicking on Tools> HOLD DOWN THE SHIFT KEY and select "Preferences". You will see an extra "Internal" tab appear.

ON NO ACCOUNT use change the settings with out a safety net. Chienworks has told us of the "reset to default" which in the event you mess-up, the procedure will make VF revert to its factory settings - OKay?

The "shuttle-type" forwards and backwards is very useful. I use it to quickly preview to a specific point on the clip. Have fun!

I think this is what you're looking for. You can ignore the bit about the trimmer - unless you realy feel the need.
