I purchased Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 14 some time ago, not knowing it was 64 bit compatible only...my Vegas 10 wasn't. I have just purchased a 64bit PC but I'm told my Product keys are now invalid.
Who, or what, is telling you your Product keys are invalid?
@Ian-Coots I was going to ask if your PK started with "P3" but I see from your post on the Magix Community forum that it does.
When trying to activate you must use the same email address as you you used to purchase and it's best to copy and paste the PK from the email rather than type it in.
EricLNZ, thanks for the response. When I click the "Activate and register immediately online" button the message came up saying the "serial number you entered is invalid or may be for another product....Error code -14. I was using my new email address so I took your advice and entered my (now cancelled) email . With that I get the message saying the serial number has been used by another email address. I'm not sure how as my previous install would not have got that far as I had a 32bit PC, so in reality, this is the first time I have installed it. I'm thinking the serial number may have been cracked????
