Activation problem - How to reach Sony?

Veteran user here. In the past when the activation limit is exceeded it was easy to just submit info via the help form, and they would lift the limit. I did that... 5 days ago, with no response and can't find a phone number to reach them!

It has been a year since I had this issue and they have changed everything around in the support forum. I really appreciate a kind push in the right direction!

Side note: I own Vegas 10 and 11, but I still love 10 due to the stabilization plugin integration, and felt that 11 crippled this feature. Did 12 bring it back correctly or is it still a mess? (yes, I know I can install the trial, haven't had the time to play around with it)

Seems the best method now is through their new "live chat", but that's only available during their normal business hours.

Chat works great, I had to wait long though. About 30 mins.

I don't know how I missed that option. I would much rather wait and get a solution over chat than phone/email. Having a question go unanswered for over week is beyond frustrating...

Thanks guys.

The Customer Service phone number is on their website - took me about ten seconds to find it: 800.577.6642
