Add As Takes

If I have an audio file- not camera audio but a soundbed song- that has a couple edits in VV, then i want to replace with new version but keep same edits does Add As Takes work?

yes.
Right click in Explorer, drag to existing audio file, and drop with Add As Takes.
[edit] if you've used destructive audio processing, it won't apply to the Take.
