Adding Audio

Sorry if I over looked but I couldn't find a solution before posting. I have a 30 second clip playing as my background media. I set it to loop at end action. I previewed and it worked great. I then added audio to it and because the audio was 7 seconds longer it showed a black screen for those 7 seconds before looping. Is there a way to set the audio the same length as the clip within the program or do I have to edit the audio before I add it? Thanks.

By default, your menu background is set to loop with the longer of the two (audio or video) clip.

As I show you in my book, you can manually set the loop time by selecting the menu background in the Workspace panel and then, in the Menu Page Properties panel, going to the General page, setting Menu Length to Manual and setting Length to a specific time.

Thanks Steve,so I will get the black scenes if my audio is longer than my background video? It will auto set the background to match audio but it will not set audio to match the length of background, correct?

If left to automatic, it will set your menu's loop length to the longer of the video or audio background clips, yes.
