Adding Chapter Stops to a Music Compilation?

I am using Vegas 4.0c and DVD-A 1.0c to produce Dolby Digital 5.1 encoded music compilations. However I can not add chapter stops inside a given ac3 encoded section of music, either by adding Markers or Tracks in Vegas 4.0c before rendering as an AC3 file nor afterwards in DVD A 1.0c. Is there any way to do this?

I am transferring old Quad reel-to-reel tapes to Dolby Digital 5.1 DVD's and would like to just add Chapter Stops similar to the way you can add Track numbers in CD Architect. Now I must chop a continuous recording into pieces to do this. There has to be an easier way!

I found my own answer! DVD Architect 1.0c will NOT allow the addition of Chapter Points in a Music Compilation. One must add a video track in Vegas 4 and place Markers where you want the Chapter Points to appear in the final DVD. Then Render the video track as a DVD Architect Video Stream to save the Markers and any video your want to add to the Dolby Digital audio AC3 file. Then choose the Single Movie DVD mode and add the rendered video file, then the AC3 file in the Set Audio menu. This will produce a workable DVD with chapter points as you specify in Vegas 4.0
