Adding photo on front end of video

Using Movie Studio 16 Platinum, on Windows 10 (all updates current), I created a video with a lead-in photo. It rendered fine and plays fine as an MP4 on my computer. However, when I upload it to a website it skips the photo and only starts with the video.
The idea of the photo was to create a thumbnail that would display when a person first sees the video to click on.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

What is the length of the photo?

I had the photo set for about 2.5 seconds with 1.5 second cross-faded. I first placed it on the same track as the video. Then I tried putting it on a track above the video.

If you are seeing it in preview and in your rendered file before you upload, then something is going on with the website that is hosting it. Sorry I can't help more but there is nothing that Movie Studio would do to make it skip.

Thanks. I'll keep playing with the photo length and see if that helps.

You could try adding a few secs of black at the beginning before the photo.
