Adding Stills to Project

DavidFG wrote on 3/25/2026, 10:50 PM

When adding stills to a project, the "date taken" info is lost. Only the date the file is added to the project is listed. This means project media can't sorted by date.

Is this normal behaviour?

I just imported a .jpg still into VP23 b302 and the 'date taken' appears in both the Explorer and Project Media windows.

The date shown in the preview window is the date stamp from the S23 Ultra phone camera - and the file name is the name created by the camera at the time the still was taken.
