Adding tags from SRT files

Hello, yesterday I asked here how could I add spanish characters to Vegas from an SRT file (while subtitling a video), the solution was to change coding to UTF-8, but now I want to know if there is a way to make html tags (for example <b> which makes a subtitle bold) be added to the final subtitles, because as far as I tried, the tags are imported as text, and they don't change the style, thank you in advance!

The Vegasaur extension by developer @altarvic has a tool called Text Generation Wizard that allows importing and exporting subtitles in SRT format. This tool also has options for importing HTML Tags (<b>, <i>) as font Styles and also exporting font Styles as HTML Tags (<b>, <i>).

I made a short video showing how this feature works.

I work a lot with SRT subtitles and I can say that it is one of the best tools and also one of the most complete that I know to produce subtitles.

You can download a trial version. It is functional for 30 days. https://vegasaur.com/Vegasaur
