Adding video shuts down Vegas 16

I am using a 64 bit Sony computer, Windows 10 and Vegas Movie studio 16 Platinum.
When I try adding video from a file I have used before with this version of Movie Studio, the program shuts down. I have deleted and downloaded the program four times but the same thing happens.
Problem-Unmanaged Exception (0xe06d7363) is what appears as an explanation. I have tried adding the same video to Vegas 13, and there is no problem with that version. I have used Vegas 16 for over a year without encountering this problem before.

Do your problem files contain 5 channel audio? If so it's a recent Windows update that is probably causing your problem.
