Hello,

I'm trying to use the new Video Stabilization feature in Pro 16 (build 307). I've got my three video clips in the Timeline with numerous splits within each clip. When I apply the effect to the section(s) that are jerky (that are broken up by the split), the FX ends up on the whole track, not just the desired section of the clip(s). I guess it has something to do with the fact that I can't just right-click on each jerky section and add Video Event FX, I have to add Media FX. When I try to add it via Video Event FX, I get a message "you've added the V.S. plugin to an event. This plugin must be applied to a clip or subclip as a media effect".

I didn't realize each split within a clip is called an Event.
Seems you can add most effects to each individual event, but not Video Stabilization?

How do I add the effect only to the split sections of the jerky clips and not the complete track?
