Adobe is #3

Interesting video here. The comments are perhaps more valuable than the video itself, esp if you want insight into what the creators want.

Vegas Devs do note you don't currently rank on this list -- I would say that's a problem. But price does come up repeatedly, so maybe some hope there?

This guy tries to force Adobe, to improve Adobe in terms of stability and performance. He claims, that a lot of uses go to Resove for that reason. He seems to be quite happy, that Adobe gave him the possibility to explain his desire, since he seems to be a fan of Adobe. Ok.

He only states, that Adobe is no3 behind Resolve - to underline that Adobe has to do something. But that was no ranking but a comparison with Resolve only. Not sure where you see a ranking?

For starters, the Vegas development team listens very intently to its customer base and works overtime to implement exactly what they desire..... So i don't see what's the problem or ranking issue you are pointing out. Since the twenty plus years of Vegas creation, it has rarely been mentioned up there with the so called industry standards, not a problem.... It is even now being more aggressively developed by the team amid the chaos.

my point would be, at least within this circle (which is not trivial--those are influencers with a great many followers), Vegas is not currently part of the conversation. And that's not a good thing.

Also note that Adobe is not a small company. If they're flying these people to SF for a junket, that tells you how seriously they care about what the YT crowd is saying about their product, and about Resolve.

Let's see.... if a company is flying me, housing me, feeding me and giving me product to endorse, what do you think one would do?

Does it mean it's better? Maybe in some respects, but not all. Adobe, pay for life.

As for "influencers", they are paid to influence. What do you suggest VEGAS to do? The same thing?

Why should Vegas be part of THIS SPECIFIC conversation? Of a video of one guy, where he wants to force the development team of Adobe, to improve Adobe?

For sure, he does not wish the Adobe team to improve Vegas. ;)

But frankly spoken, I see your point that the overall marketing communication of Vegas could be pushed.
