These were about 3x that last year, and they are currently going for $79.95 at Circuit City.

Hate to rain on the stampede to Fry's, but I received an RMA from ADS this week to return the exact same model that I bought last year. It had problems from the get go. This may be their way of dumping stock?

I just bought a couple from Circuit City after somebody here advised their sale, and they have worked perfectly, as have the ones I bought last year at full price.

These are the DLX-185s (even though the boxes are marked USBX804).

Circuit City has superseded these with USB2-only drives... They are indeed being blown out by the manufacturer.

If something happens, they have a 1 year warranty, which is then doubled by my credit card.
