ADS Pyro A/V Link

Anyone got this working with Vegas 4c and Win XP Pro? I cannot get device control whenever I am trying to capture video w/firewire. I notice that the light on the front goes from 'digital' to 'analog' whenever I try to play or rewind from the capture window.

It seems that you don't need this to be a part of the chain if you want to capture from a DV device. Just connect the camera or deck directly to the computer via 1394.

This device sounds like an ADVC100 with component inputs. That's good but you don't need it to capture from DV. Remove it from the chain.

Thanks--I have been capturing directly for sometime now but I thought this would be nice to have on a desktop--kinda an all in one. I appreciate the reply. Again this worked on my Mac with iMovie and Final Cut Pro.

Did you get to capture using winxp?
I only got using the ulead video studio that comes with the a/v link.
