On the back of the ADS case are what appear to be RCA type audio jacks - red and white as in left/right channel. What are these for?
Also, as I mentioned in a previous thread, in addition to the ADS case, I have three Maxtor external firewire units (each 80 GB). I can move these Maxtors at will to my older machine (a Compaq 5020 233mhz into which I've inserted a firewire card). But, when I hook up the ADS box, the drive is not recognized. It works fine on my newer (but also aging) Compaq 7994 (and this is the machine onto which I originally added the ADS).
The 5020 runs WinME - the 7994 dual boots - either Win98SE or WinXPPro.
What am I missing (and thanks in the advance for the info on those audio jacks).
