Hawaii? You're killing us. How about holding one beautiful Cleveland, Ohio?

I second that, that would be very helpful!

But please put it on DVD.

VAAST has a quick start Vegas 5.0 DVD out for $60 that might meet your need. I'm reviewing it now and it is very good at pointing out the changes and going through how to use the new features. Order it from their site here:

Of course, there's nothing like being there especially when you can shoot fabulous footage of Waikiki in the evening and use it during the training. Sunrise, sunset, and Waikiki by moonlight is outstanding. Of course, the green mountians topped with cottonball clouds floating against a brilliant clear blue sky offset by deep tourqoise blue water rimmed in golden sand beaches, lit by a warm summer sun and cooled by gentle tropical trade winds doesn't hurt the setting either. Add the Hawaiian music, laid back life style, and swaying palms and you can understand why it's described as paradise. Can you think of a better environment in which to shoot and edit video? Hope some of you can make it. Who knows if this opportunity will present itself again.

I loved Waikiki when I visited it years ago - but please understand that this is hard to book from far destinations, like Europe. Even if I would like to do so - I am afraid that I cannot afford that really!

When Cleveland has beaches, we'll be there.
For those asking about video versions of this, you'll see a different version of this on a very near future DVD that's already been shot, just not finished editing yet.
DVDs and live training are always going to be different.

Spot, didn't you stop at any of our beaches last year when you did the DVLine Seminar? Northeast Ohio actually has several beaches off Lake Erie. However, these certainly are not or anywhere close to the quality of Hawaii beaches.

Wish I could make it to the seminar in Hawaii. Have a great time!

Beaches.....not fine rockpits. :-) I've seen the beaches at Erie. Fine views, but it's somewhat different than seeing monster turtles, palm trees, and other visual amenities.
Hawaii will be GREAT! for under 1100.00, you get a week in Hawaii and a day plus of Vegas training!

OK, OK, be nice. It's the best we have here.

Me, I play music in Wakiki.

The Atlanta discounts are the same as other cities, use the COMM code for $$ savings. That'll be a fun ciy, as we've got the ACID for NonLinear Editors class happening the next day with Jeffrey P. Fisher. Looking forward to Atlanta too. ('course, I enjoy most cities we travel to)
