Advantages of rendering in AVI over WMV

Avi seems to be faster - but is the video qualtiy compromised rendering in AVI over WMV once project is burned to a DVD

AVis can have lots of different codecs in them, which will all compare to WMV differently.

If you are burning to a DVD you will want to use MPEG2 instead of either AVI or WMV.
