Anybody who uses a canopus ADVC1394 Card for capturing video from VCR?
I have a problem capturing video from one of my VHS tapes which is very unstable.
The capture works fine with some other tapes(using thesame VCR), my camcorder and camera.
I tried to connect the VCR/out to TV/in and then TVout to the ADVC1394/analog in. The picture on TV is fine but the preview on computer is very unstable. I tried adjusting the VCR tracking but its thesame behaviour. The audio is fine with the unlocked button on the ADVC controller. I also tried switching the mode to NTSC and it plays stable but have a black and white picture which i expect so because my player is PAL.
Is there anybody who has similar problem before? Any idea out there?
I have P4, 1.8Ghz, 526 DDR RAM and a SIS650 motherboard.
Is it an issue of compatibility?
