ADVCs - Canapus 110 vs Pinnacle Studio Movie

I'm in the market for an analog to digital converter to use with Vegas Movie Studio +DVD. I have seen several good comments in the forum on Canapus 110. While researching, I came across Pinnacle Studio Movie Box which also looks good ($150 at Best Buy). I cannot find where to buy Canapus...other than on line.
Have any of you used Pinnacle? Does the majority prefer Canapus?
Comments???

Thanks,

I have the Canopus 1394 installed in my computer and it works great. I also use a Canopus 55 (external) in my class on video processing and it also works great. I definitely recommend the Canopus products. I don't think that you could go wrong with the 110.

Thanks, BIlly. Would you recommend Canapus 55 for use with Movie Studio...or should I step up a notch to 110?

The 55 converts only analog to digital (tape to DV). The 110 is bi-directional. That is the only difference.

The next higher model, the 300, can clean up weak signals to correct loss of sync and reduce noise.

Try Canopus.com or Amazon.com to purchase Canopus products. Or just google Canopus and you will get a lot of sites.

I bought mine at www.bhphotovideo.com, but, as said before, there are lots of places you can get one.
