I'm just wondering how much should I charge my clients to convert their concerts to DVD? I mean, shold I do it per hour, flat fee?

SF says it provides mpeg2 encoding for motion picture industry -- do they use the main concept mpeg2?

It varies with location and the quantity of tapes to be transferred. At work we've sent this type of stuff out due to time pressure and they charge us about $50 for the the first tape (60 mins) and less for subsequent copies depending on the quantities -- ranging from $30 for a few copies to $19 per tape for a lot of copies.

But I would hit the search engines to get a feel for what's reasonable in your area. There are lots of websites out there with pricelists.
