I've had a request to deliver my 1 hour 22 minute hd project into a slightly different format that I originally delivered to a bluray authoring company. I delivered a 1440x1080 mpeg2 rendered m2v file that they've had for 3 weeks and now, crunch time, they want it in 1920 and in AVC VC1 format. AND.. progressive, as the original was shot in HDV I had kept the project in the original camera format which as 1440, interlaced.
I haven't tried doing any bluray AVC rendering and I was wondering if the Sony AVC codec is the way to go or should I be using something else to maybe convert the m2v to 1920 AVC. Anyone know what the proper AVC settings are for delivering to a Sonic Bluray authoring house? And, if I do go progressive, does bluray even support 30p, I sure don't want to do a 30 to 24 frame conversion at this point.
