I have Vegas Pro 17. I am still a beginner. Am I allowed to ask for advice on which tutorials to watch based on my specific goals? Rather than watching several different tutorials by different people, is there a specific series by a particular tutor you can recommend so I don’t hear the same information repeated too often by different people?
Purpose A: Spoken word and singing syllables and plucking a classical guitar/lute discussing music theory for youtube. Multi-cam editing of 4K footage.
Purpose B Recording classical guitar and lute repertoire, eliminating errors and klunkers.
The production would be relatively free of technical bells and whistles, with occasional photos of a whiteboard and music scores, and occasional words on the screen. Nothing elaborate.
Using two Sony ZV E10 II cameras and stereo Shure SM 81 mics, and a Rode NT1, and maybe iphone 16 video.
I am considering an RTX 5070 Ti graphics card and an intel Ultra 9 (285 K) assembled and supported by either Puget or Velocity or Alexander PCs. I will upgrade my Vegas Pro if necessary. RAM 64 Gig. 1,300 Watt power, liquid cooling.
I might upgrade to a 5080, and probably will.
The Sony ZV-E10 II records in 4K 10-bit 4:2:2. I am looking to confirm if Vegas Pro 17 handles this format natively or if an upgrade to Vegas 22 is required for smooth timeline performance on this hardware.
Any advice would be appreciated, as well as questions for clarification. Thanks.
