AE4 needs codec vids:dvsd

I exported an AVI with NTSC DV, and tried to import it to AE4 for some extra work, and it appears I need a codec that isn't on my system. it says it requires vids:dvsd decompressor. could anyone help me out with this one? much appreciated.

Go to www.fourcc.org. Click on Codecs, look for the 2nd or 3rd occurrence of DVSD (1st column) where "Download" is in the 2nd column. Click on Download. This takes you to the Mainconcept website. Download the Mainconcept DV codec and install. It worked like a champ for me. BTW, you won't have to pay for it since you are just using it as a decompressor. Good luck!
