After I render the video, the frames decrease drastically

Hello!

I have a piece of video which when in vegas as well as after rendering, is very choppy and low fps with screen tearing. I am on sony vegas 14. The weird thing is the video was fine at around 30 fps before but after putting it into vegas (it was an mp4), it has broken. All my other mp4s are fine its just this one.

Any help would be appreciated.
