When you enter "dvdarch" in the Start bar, is "dvdarchitectpro5.2.135.exe" (or something like that) at the top of the list?

When I begin to enter dvdarch I get dvdarchitectstudio5.0.186, which is the set up file that is found in my download folder.

What if you browse to C:/PROGRAM FILES (X86)/SONY/DVD ARCHITECT [VERSION] and double-click the dvdarch50.exe file?

Tried that, but there is no exe. file. Several dlls

There's no exe file? Even after re-installing the software?

You definitely need to run a Malware Bytes scan!

No way of opening. Just unistalled using Revo Uninstaller then reinstalled the updated package.

For what it's worth, I just experienced the very same scenario. I downloaded and executed build 186 and all visibility to my Studio DVD Architect 5.0 software was gone; start menu icon disappeared and no sign of the program executable.

I guess I should have paid better attention to the previous post. Once I unistalled the original program (build 128) I was able to successfully install the new version.
