Ahem--any way to block a particular topic?

I've seen how one can use the "Ignore this user" function, but the rest of the thread remains. Is there some way to hide an entire thread? From time to time this might be useful.

I agree, but if other forum members would just ignore the person and resist additional commentary, the post would quickly sink out of sight (and out of mind).

I agree with that too it seem that the as it continues it evolves into something else that really should have started a new topic. I have been guilty of helping some of Zippy's threads continue eventhough I have ignored that user.

I just ignore them now. But you're right tom, if noone responded then it would drop out of site, unless zippy kept posting to keep it fresh. :(

Okay, Okay. I see the point of blocking Zippy. If everyone did it then no one would ever respond to him in the first place.
