Great!

Although I can't test it myself, I see no reference in the release notes to a fix for the poor GoPro footage playback performance, or for the GH4 footage import bug. These are both very popular cameras and the issues badly need fixing (assuming they are still unfixed).

The GH4 bug seems to be not fixed. What a pitty.

That GH4 bug left unfixed for so long is exactly the sort of thing that damages Vegas Pro's reputation in the pro/semi-pro market.

everyone submit a request to fix gopro and GH4.

I own both and these long standing bugs should have been fixed as soon as found. this is silly.

i would have hoped for some gpu improvements - it's still a mess and completely out of date....

whilst i appreciate the complaints about various camera codecs, they are not scs's direct concern (and can always be transcoded), however, to repeat, i really can't understand this complete disregard of one of the most important functions of vegas...

The problem with the Wave Hammer plug-in operating in DEMO mode has not been fixed.

edit: Has anyone ever had a bug report fixed?
+1 on the GoPro issue.

Yes.

Yes, a couple. But it's not instant gratification. More buddha-like patience.

I've had a few fixed and others that have been going on for years. Sad thing is I just don't think they have the staff to give Vegas the attention it needs. Just look at the Vegas 13 update (or lack there of). Such a great program but not enough progress...

Well, I think that has been a kind of monthly or 2-monthly routine update. Maybe it is not fair to expect here huge changes since the devopment work hours are a limited ressource. Some bugs have been improved, well for the GH4 we got a script that works at least.

I was secretly hoping for the WaveHammer bug to be fixed too, and I was kinda wishing for improved GPU support.

I hear ya. Things I have come across can be worked around for the most part.

It is just a little disturbing that if an activation problem with Wave Hammer cannot be fixed in a few months after release then what are the probabilities for code problems.

I have come to realize there are probably many items on the Vegas bug list that will never be looked at. The Titles and Text font problems being examples.
