Ai Smart Mask 2.0 either crashes or takes a long time (Vegas 21)

I'm using Vegas 21 on my new laptop and trying to get the Ai Smart Mask 2.0 to work. Everything works fine until I want to "complete masking" for the entire clip, in which case it either takes over an hour to finish or crashes completely. Does anyone have a fix/a work around for this? Keep in mind I'm testing this effect out on clips that are, at maximum, 3 seconds long.

Without a sample of a clip, hard to say what the issue is.

Also what build number?

Also, have no idea of what your computer specs are. It's best to add them to your Signature in your user profile so that it is always available. See my Signature below. Please include specific make and model numbers.
