For me, one of the biggest draws of upgrading my Vegas was getting the AI Smart Mask, but I've been testing it out on any and everything and it is not masking anything properly.

I'm following the instructions in this video Magix posted on how to use it.

What it's doing instead is masking some part of the video, not all of it. This is despite being anchors all throughout the clip's timeline.

Also, when I split the clip from the point the where mask stops, the mask goes away.

Is there a better tutorial than this? Are there crucial steps I'm missing it leaves out?
