I created a short video with a voice-over using AI Text-to-Speech. A collegue has adapted it for TikTok but TikTok says there's a copyright issue on the AI voice! YouTube has no issues with it.
Ayone else had copyright issues with AI Text to Speech?
Find out the name of the copyright claimant, and all you can dig up about them. Chances are they have nothing to do with the text to speech developer.
Vegas may be using open source algorithms with its plugin, and they are notoriously easy targets for frivolous claims of all sorts, including copyright and other intellectual property scams.
I dont normally do Tiktok so I'll set up an account and do some tests. Meanwhile, my collegue is having to re-record the voice-over and said "Do you have the script handy" and I thought Easy, I'll just get AI Speech to Text to make me a transcript from the original video. And so having done that I found there was no way to simply copy the transcribed text and paste it elsewhere. I haven't used that before - am I missing something? Not impressed!
@paul-marshall After analysis, click the subtitles option and select Export SRT file. A windows dialog will open where you can change the file type to .txt.
