The Lenovo screen quality is very good aside from being highly reflective (and the fingerprints that you get from having a touch screen). I have a second display now, an Asus 24" that cost me $129 on Black Friday. That screen has a nice matte finish but the image quality isn't quite as good as the Lenovo aside from that.
Better screen quality is wasted upon someone who needs progressive bifocals as strong as mine. I used to be able to see things like the grain of paper and the rough edges of the ink from my pen. Now I'm lucky just to be able to make out the text if I use a slightly larger font. I'm not doubting that the Apple screens are better. I'm just saying that my eyes aren't up to seeing such fine points.
