Problem is, I have some veg files from 2015 and even my current files still say Vegas Pro 18 in the style column. Most of the current ones have been started in VP19. Why?
@ChasMc It's a Windows thing. You have to right-click on a veg file and when the dialog opens asking which program you want to associate veg files with, don't select Vegas 19. You need to check the box that says 'Choose another app'. Then choose Vegas Pro 19 (identify it by its new icon) and click the 'Always use this app to open .veg files'. All your veg files will now open with Vegas 19. However, because VP18 files are also .veg files, clicking on one of these will cause Vegas 19 to attempt to open it.
@Jack S Thank you Jack. I don't recall ever having to reset that before, but at least now, I now how to fix it.
@Len Kaufman It’s only because Vegas Pro versions all use the same file type- .veg.
