all tracks full ripple insert

can someone explain how i can insert or remove a clip and have all tracks for the entire length of the project respond by moving over appropriately? when i try it, only the adjacent clip on the track i am altering responds, leaving me w/ the chore of moving everything else in the project either one at a time or by individually selecting each into a group and moving it. this qhestion is for vv3. thanks.

right click on the event you want to move--hold the mouse button down and drag it to to where you want the event to go--release the button and chose shuffle events---Thats should do it----

thanks. will tis work if i want to remove a single event and have the rest of the events close in correspondingly?
