It's amazing to me after using Vegas every day for 8 years that I can discover something I never tried before.
Basically, I never use the Plugin Manager view because I've always just kind of found it redundant. But what I discovered the other day is not only can I drag plugins from there onto busses and tracks, but I can drag them onto events to open the Apply-Non Realtime Effects dialog. Not only can I drag one plugin, but I can drag several at a time, or a package, to create a chain.
seems simple enough, but it's a lot faster than clicking on the plugin icon on the track, or right clicking on an event to open the apply-non real time effects dialogue.
most of you probably knew this, but hey, I didn't, and I consider myself about as knowledgeable about Vegas as anyone.
HTH.
