Amazing! Congratulations!

Okay, I felt like you blew me off. I felt like you didn't care about the fact that you had a Multi-Platinum Awarded Producer using (and liking) your products. Let's face it, Sound Forge with CD Architect was (in my opinion) what made "real industry people" interested in what you were doing. Then you dropped CD Architect. After we moaned and groaned about it enough you implemented it into ...... ????? Vegas "VIDEO?????" Mastering Engineers don't want to master and create PMCDs in a video editing program! WHAT A PISSSSER!

But this is beautiful! I am so happy that you stepped back up and did this! I love it! It is intuitive, easy to use and it all works perfectly! I will buy a version when it's available (unless you want me to further endorse the product and mention the use of it on all of the internationally distributed products I produce and master) ..... Hint, Hint :P

WAY TO GO! CONGRATULATIONS!

Quick question...Why can't you do both?? :)

I could ... but we are politicians first in this business, so in order to be "politically correct" we need to work within the confines of the political structure of the music industry.

Thanks for asking though!

That was definately a political answer. I'm still here scratching my head saying "HUH?"

I just find it ironic that the "Pros" begged for the return of CD Architect, saying SoFo would make lots of $$$ because they would all buy it. Now, BECAUSE they're Pros, they shouldn't have to pay for it?!?

hehe, yea, that is funny. I'll be buying it for sure!
Now, all i need to do is be able to get the demo to work.

Sort of reminds me of a freelance music critic for a popular music magazine asking for copies of releases I had. When I asked for a copy of his review, for my web site, he wanted me to pay him for it.....

Funny how some people think, I suppose....

OKAY Putzie Munkies!!!

Pull it out (OYA) limp appendages and READ IT again!

First thing I said was that I would buy it!

I'm not obligated to fret over what anyone thinks I should authorize to go into my production credits! That's valuable real estate!

I wink at you with my ominous Brown Eye!

Gotta get me a dictionary and look up "unless". Might as well look up "putzie" while I'm at it. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge!

tmrpro: you are most definately a good politician since you can avoid your own issue so completely.

You said you would either a) buy it, or b) endorse it. You implied that you would not do both. We're simply asking you why you would not do both. Why will you not buy it if you decide to endorse it? Why would you not endorse it if you buy it?

Got any straight answers for us poor confuzzled folks?

Girls girls! It would normally be up to the record company to decide if they want to place product endorsements on their material. My record company would tell me to sod-off! Bit of a load of dingos kidneys here!

Girls? ;)

At least you're not yelling at me (LOL)

Pack of old women :-) Do something useful and read my question in the previous thread and comment!

LOL!!!! Nahh, not an old woman either. ;)

Sweety, I guess it just depends on the position you maintain and hold with the companies you work for. I can put anything that I want on any of the records that I produce.

So then i guess the question becomes one of why did you bother saying you would endorse it only if you didn't buy it? I'm not sure what point you were trying to make there.
tmrpro wrote on 10/16/2002, 4:26 PM
Dingos, girls and putzie munkies now that's a complete meal.

Yum!

> So then i guess the question becomes one of why did you bother saying you would endorse it only if you didn't buy it?

1. I didn't say that
2. I endorsed the product in my first message in this string
3. There are things in this world some bargain for; mine are valuable, their's are valuable, equity in these cases is considered appropriate

Question?:
I'm not sure what point you were trying to make there.

Answer:
That the product is good and I am glad that Sonic Foundry finally stepped up to the plate to make the application and that it is valuable enough to purchase.

I enjoy washing cars too....

A naval encounter without the loss of seamen...

tmrpro--

What have you produced? What label? I'm not trying to question your credentials, I just like to know who's cranking out tunes heard 'round the world on the same software that I use--I guess it gives me a little kick-in-the-ass type inspiration, that's all.

Peace.
