AMD Adrenalin 22.11.1 - I feel sentenced!

Yelandkeil wrote on 11/16/2022, 3:04 AM

I'm waiting and waiting for the new version and it came out today.
Good for those who may game or stay in the SDR world.

For my HDR10 project in VEGAS, black screen occurs on the external display, by every event change when playing back the timeline.
Terrible!

I'm afraid Adrenalin 22.5.1 would be the last version for my HW and VEGAS.
AMD, nOO!

But why install this non-WHQL and just released driver?

I've been with 22.5.1 and have had no issues. If there was something specific in updating that would give better performance, then I would consider it. But I haven't read anything in any of the later drivers that have stated that.

We are always encouraged to update our graphics driver for a better performance.

It's like a gold mine the deeper the engineers extract the more we win.
AMD seems getting into a blind spot.
Since half a year.

Yes it can be for gamers and possibly other applications. Maybe Vegas isn't high on their "radar" as gamers are, and other editors.

Ha-ha.

You should never install driver as soon it is released unless you have an issue that was fixed in it.
