I don't know what the code name is for your GPU but that's what Vegas uses in preferences, video. Is it GFX 1030?

For GPU rendering it is in the render templates. See if you can find VCE which is AMD's GPU render.

Right you are @RogerS, it's the code number for RDNA2. For my RX 6700XT, it's gfx1301. Look at this file, "gpu_video_x64.log" here: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\20.0.

And then Google that number and you will see RDNA2 68/6900 cards listed. And again, As @RogerS mentioned, when you go to Render, do you see AMD VCE?

Also, what drivers are you using? I am still on 22.5.1 WHQL

Then you should be fine. Someone with a 6800/6900 series card will have to reply what they see in the Preferences.
