------------Air Cooling
Some older cars, and very few modern cars, are air-cooled. Instead of circulating fluid through the engine, the engine block is covered in aluminum fins that conduct the heat away from the cylinder. A powerful fan forces air over these fins, which cools the engine by transferring the heat to the air. -------------------------

The same must apply to CPU, no???

This isn't such a big mystery. Almost all heatsinks are designed to have air blown onto them, although a few specially designed sinks, (the Alpha 8045 comes to mind), are meant to have the air sucked off. To satisfy your own curiosity,, just unscrew your heat sink fan and reverse it. Overclocker's.com has volumes of discussion on this topic,, if the foregoing hasn't been enough.

I have found this site to be excellent for pointing to the least-expensive ways to buy a number of different items, including CPUs:

Also, I think the most recent articles show that the high-end P4s are FASTER for video applications (i.e. rendering video in Studio7) than the Athlons, not vice-versa. As I mentioned in my earlier post, I still support AMD just to make sure we all still will have a cost-effective choice in the future.
