Amulet 2.0-VST effects as Vegas track effects!!

I just saw this on the pc-daw mailing list. For more info,
check out http://www.fxpansion.com . An upcoming version
will allow envelope-drawn changes in effects parameters.

Would it be possible to create a DirectX-to-Vegas-tracks
software adapter in the same manner? hmmmmm......

Also, is there a list anywhere of effects that will work as
Vegas track effects? The only ones I know of are the SF
ones.

As far as I know any Direct X effects will work in Vegas, I have a
bunch of Blue-Line effects that run just dandy in Vegas and I believe
that they are Direct X effects. I might be wrong on this however.

Actually, I meant using effects directly on tracks, not on a bus or
as an insert. Can the blue-line effects do that? The only ones I know
of are the Sonic Foundry ones.

I see. Why would you not want to use realtime effects when possible?
If you are concerned about CPU usage you can always get it the way you
want it and mix it down to a new effected track. I try to stay away
from destructive editing whenever possible.

It's not a matter of realtime or not. It's whether you need to create
an insert to use them. I.E. the button to use the Vegas track EQ is
located next to each track. But if I want to use Waves Renaissance
Compressor, I have to create an effect insert bus and apply it that
way. This adds yet another 2 sets of volume controls that I'd rather
due without, as well as other inconveniences. The new Amulet adapter
would allow VST plugins (of which there are many freeware available)
to operate in the same way as the Vegas track EQ and compressor
