'An error has occured' No what?

I am trying to use Movie Studio for small professional video-projects. Somehow many of the exports/renderings I make using MOV-files end up with a window showing 'An error has occured'. No file, nothing. What can I do? Is the QuickTime support in Vegas extremely bug-loaded? Would not be okay for me.

Please help or suggest things I could do to solve it. I probably need to buy a QuickTime PRO license for WIndows too, but just to make sure: can MOV exports from Vegas Movie Studio really work? I do hope so...
