analog/digital insert

is it possible to add "analog" insert in any future update?

when i say that i think on possibility to insert pair of analog or digital input/outputs into plug-in chain of track, bus or master. it could be possible if multichanel audio input/output board or external box with asio drivers takes place. that's the way to use some outboard gear in our mixes. of course, if analog insert is presented in audio chain then rendering to audio file should be disabled.

and some more: if we could add fx bus/es(master aux/es) to mixer, route it to some free output and then add "live" input to the same mixer then we could join great outboard reverb or fx processor to our realtime mix.

I can't imagine Vegas will ever or even could ever work with analog material. I can't even imagine how this concept would work. How do you get an analog signal into the computer's memory and data busses? How do you store it on the drive? It just doesn't make any sense.

If you want to work with external analog equipment then that is entirely dependant on how your external equipment works together. Got a digital mixer? Got some analog gear? Plug them together and you've got analog and digital together. It's easy to route Vegas' outputs and busses through outboard gear already.
