analog to digital (quality)

I was looking at the last topic about analog to digital. If I capture from my vcr to my mini-dv cam and input it into my computer, will my quality be that of the vcr tape or can I make it better.

Converting analog VHS, etc. to digital does not enhance the original analog file/tape/image. It merely digitizes it. As you know, digital does not degrade with usage like analog VHS, etc. Digital can be manipulated in Vegas to improve the overall color, maybe sharpen the image. Analog VHS just doesn't have the same number of pixels/resolution as digital.
