If you've got Paint Shop Pro or some equiv Graphics s/w, you could make the elements and then stick it all together in a GIF animation - Otherwise do a search for free clapper board on the net - yeah? - Nice little Tutorial Project to do.

How realistic do you want it - i'd have ago if you're interested!

I thought this might be achievable done entirely as generated media within Vegas so you can change the text on the clapper board without needing a 3rd party program. So I did. Here is the veg file: ClapperBoard.veg from my web site along with a tutorial of how I did it.

Thanks, I agree yours is a snapper alright... ;-) I got the idea from a transition I have in Hollywood FX that flies in a clapper board and then turns it around reveling the next clip on the back. You really need to have parent-child object operations to fly this stuff around and keep it together. I do wish there was a Hollywood FX plug-in for Vegas. I miss not having it.

Never used "Hollywood FX plug-in " or any other type of West Coast kitchen electrical appliance - . . . . it is an appliance - isn't it?
